General Info/ Description/ Back Story: Meadow comes from a lower-class family in Baltimare. She along with her sister Nicole, struggled with the constant bickering between their parents and living with little income. Meadow looked up to Nicki and held her to a high regard because she was smarter, stronger, more confident and tough. So, when Nicki turned to a life of mischief and dishonesty, Meadow became lost, and even more so when their parents sent Nicki away to live with relatives in Appaloosa. She eventually got into working with different types of species of animals at the local Animal Rehab and Release Center thanks to a ‘Help Wanted’ sign and became hooked. She started out at th bottom from habitat cleaner and worked her way up to trainer/ rehabilitator. The animals filled the void her sister had left open and she was content again. Though she misses her sister terribly, the animals she befriended keeps her whole.
Cutie Mark Story: Meadow found her calling when she was tasked with caring for an orphaned and injured wallaby. For months, she fed it, slept with it and kept it gently wrapped in a pillow case simulating a pouch. She had to put it through simple survival tests to ensure that he could survive in the wild when it came time to release him. He harnessed his instincts and eventually didn’t have to rely on Meadow to care for him. One day she and the wallaby made the journey to the animal sanctuary, where she sad, yet proudly released him into his new home with other wallabies. She watched him thrive and play and knew this is where he belonged and that he was happy. In realizing that this too is where she belonged, her cutie mark appeared.
Where They Are Now: Meadow has various other jobs when not working at the nature reserve. She is working towards being a vet and pet sits around her town to earn bits for school.
